It’s Blue Ivy while swimming. The 3-year-old was recently photographed while splashing around with mom. Beyonce served as pool instructor and Blue was the student who watched her mom’s every move before venturing out on her own.

Mrs. Carter is exposing her daughter to the finer things in life. From trips around the world to private swimming lessons in the family pool, Blue Ivy is enjoying childhood.

The toddler is enjoying other things as well as she had the pleasure of presenting the Vanguard award to her mother at the 2014 VMA Awards. Blue rocked out during Bey’s 20 minute performance, and then joined the singer onstage with dad Jay-Z to give her the prestigious award. The little one was so excited that she screamed, “Yay mommy” while fans cheered.

Jay-Z dubbed his wife “the recipient of the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award, and the greatest living entertainer.” Of course, Bey was overwhelmed by the experience and was nearly left speechless. “I love you all so much,’ said the star.”

Blue is Jay-Z and Beyonce’s only child. She celebrated her third birthday in January.
