Actor Marcus Scribner and actress Yara Shahidi attended the 12th annual McDonald’s 365 Black Awards at Ernest N. Morial Convention Center on July 3, 2015 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Every year, the 365 Awards recognizes celebrities and everyday individuals who make positive contributions within the African-American community. Among those honored at the event were teen entrepreneurs Aaron Johnson, 14-year-old filmmaker, author and entrepreneur; and Tori Turner, 16-year-old entrepreneur, author, and motivational speaker. They received the Community Choice Youth Award, facilitated by the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.
