Zendaya Coleman was one of several young stars to attend Children Mending Hearts’ seventh annual ‘Empathy Rocks’ fundraiser on Sunday. The event was held in Malibu, California, and encouraged kids to express themselves through the arts.

Miss Coleman has been doing a lot of charity work these past few weeks. It was just a few days ago that the star visited patients at one of the Children’s Miracle Network hospitals, and she took a number of pictures with girls from the Lady Like Foundation whom she called the “future queens of the world.”

It seems that Zendaya has more time to do charity work since graduating from high school. The teen shared a picture of herself dressed in cap and gown last week. “Shout out, not just to all the 2015 grads but to the soon to be,” captioned the star underneath her picture. “Please remember knowledge is one of the most powerful gifts we have the privilege of receiving … don’t take that for granted,” admonished Coleman.

Zendaya currently stars in the Disney series ‘K.C. Undercover.’ She is also in the process of building her music career.
