Tiffney Cambridge and the kids were present for the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books on Saturday. The children’s author and her little ones took the festival by storm as they spread the word about Tiffney’s book, The Little Girl Who Lost Her Smile, with attendees.
The children’s story has already touched the lives of children and adults throughout the nation. Many parents praise Tiffney for being so transparent in her storytelling, while others admire her for creating a character based off her daughter’s personality.
“I wanted what was best for Cali and Justice,” said Tiffney of her and Jayceon Taylor’s breakup that inspired her to write the book. “I wanted them to not lose their smile even though through the process, I had lost mine.” Many fans were able to talk with Cambridge and her kids during the festival, which made the experience even more personable.
The Los Angeles Times has hosted its Festival of Books for twenty years. This year’s event took place on the University of Southern California campus, and featured a myriad of authors who represented various genres. There were also a number of workshops and performances for attendees to enjoy.
Tiffney Cambridge and Jayceon Taylor, a.k.a. The Game, have two kids, King Justice and Cali Dream, together. See more pictures of Tiffney and the kids at the book festival below!
