Bobby Brown shared spectacular news with fans during his concert at the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie, Texas, on Saturday night. The ‘Every Little Step’ singer took a break from performing to tell attendees that his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, was awake.
“Bobbi is awake,” said Brown. “She’s watching me.” The crowd went wild upon hearing the good news.
Tina Brown, Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, also gave an update on Bobbi Kristina’s condition by telling her Facebook fans, “So many messages, sorry can’t answer them all right now but I will get to them later..just allow me this time with my family. Yes, she woke up and is no longer on life support! God is good! Thanks for your prayers. Still a process, but she is going to be OK.”
Bobbi Kristina was taken to the hospital on January 31, 2015, after being found unconscious by her husband, Nick Gordon, in the bathtub of her Atlanta home. She was placed on life support shortly after arriving to the hospital, and has been under close observation ever since.
Bobbi Kristina is Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston’s only child. She was born on March 4, 1993.
