‘BLACK-ISH’ CAST MEMBERS ATTEND ATAS EVENT

BLACKISH

The ‘Black-ish’ cast are hard at work promoting their hit series. Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson hung out with their on-screen kids – Marcus Scribner, Yara Shahidi, Miles Brown and Marsai Martin – at the ATAS Event at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood this past weekend. All members of the cast were lively, with the kids giving photographers a number of cute group shots.

Although many are confident that ‘Black-ish’ will be renewed, ABC has not yet shared its plans to air the show for a second season. The first season of the series enjoyed much success, with more than seven million viewers within the 18-49 demographic tuning in every week. The show did, however, experience steady decline in viewership as ratings slipped to 1.94 from its original 3.30 ranking.

Still in all, ‘Black-ish’ cast members are hopeful. It was just a few weeks ago that Marcus Scribner discussed the show with BlackCelebKids.com. “I think the fact that ‘Black-ish’ is definitely a family show, and it really pertains to all families no matter what your ethnicity is [makes the show popular],” said the young star. “It’s not just for black people, it’s for everyone.”
