Tamera Mowry-Housley felt like "the princess of the ball" at her baby shower this past weekend. The seven and a half months pregnant star was surrounded by family and friends as she celebrated the impending arrival of her daughter.
Held at Malibu's Hotel Casa Del Mar, Tamera's baby shower was a girly girl's dream come true. The expectant mom wanted a "girlie party with lots of pink" and that's what event planner Mindy Weiss gave her. The color scheme for the bash was pink and white, with pink balloons, pink bow-tie napkins, 1,000 roses and a pink tutu tablecloth being the focus of the decor.
"She said she wanted a tutu tablecloth," says Mindy.
50 guests, including Tamera's twin sister Tia Mowry-Hardrict, her brother Tahj Mowry, and co-hosts from television show The Real, were served sliders, organic grilled chicken, french fries and ceasar salad. As for drinks, guests sipped on pink lemonade and pink champagne. Marshmallow pops and a pink velvet "bun in the oven" cake were provided by Joanie and Lehigh bakery. Tamera's son Aden,2, even got his own cake-a chocolate-chip marble Superman cake.
All in all, it was an eventful day. The mom-to-be, who looked beautiful in a white Victor Alfaro dress, had the support of her husband Adam Housley by her side. The couple are expecting their baby girl to arrive in early July.
