Ludacris, Dwyane Wade, Ne-Yo, and Damon Dash may come from different backgrounds but there is one thing that they all have in common: they love their kids. The celebrity fathers have been involved with legal battles concerning their kids, and have been unafraid to express their passion.
Damon Dash definitely shared his heart with fans a few days ago. The producer told Instagram subscribers all about his troubles with ex-wife Rachel Roy, whom he accused of keeping him away from his daughters. “If anybody speaks to Rachel Roy can you ask her why she is keeping my daughters away from me,” asked the star. “I know such a classy woman would never do something as distasteful as that unless advised by a low life scum bag lawyer like Donell Suarez.” Damon went on to advise his ex-wife not to get caught up with someone who is “trying to separate me from my family so he can get paid.” He then told her, “If I have to this will be a public fight and I’m going to tell the truth and you guys will not be making me look like a bad father so y’all can get more money.”
Speaking of more money, famed rapper Ludacris is also having legal troubles with Tamika Fuller. The mother of Luda’s 1-year-old daughter, Cai, is reportedly hoping to re-gain full custody of their daughter since losing the battle in January. According to TMZ, “She now claims in legal docs she deserves a second bite of the apple because Luda didn’t tell [her] his new wife is pregnant and he’s such a bad parent he’s getting a nanny to do the heavy lifting.” Ludacris is currently expecting his third child with newlywed wife Eudoxie.
Custody woes are also brewing between Dwyane Wade and Siohvaughn Funches. The Miami ‘Heat’ star’s ex-wife is reportedly fighting back after Dwyane attempted to order her to spend Spring break with Zion and Zaire in Illinois. Siovaughn apparently wants liberality to spend the vacation with her kids wherever she chooses and has thus filed court documents that will grant her such freedom.
Meanwhile, Ne-Yo’s legal drama, as it pertains to his kids, has come to an end. The Jasmine Brand reports that the artist filed documents earlier this month asking the courts to legally recognize him as the father of Mason and Madilyn. Monyetta Shaw, the mother of the children, responded to the complaint shortly thereafter, and a Georgia judge closed the case after granting Ne-Yo’s wish.
