Congratulations to Vin Diesel and girlfriend Paloma Jimenez on the arrival of their child. The FURIOUS 7 star shared the good news with social media fans earlier this week.
“I hear babies crying, I watch them grow,” wrote Vin on Facebook Monday eve. The actor further quoted Louis Armstrong and Kenny G’s hit single, ‘What A Wonderful World,’ by saying, “They’ll learn much more, than I’ll ever know. And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.” Diesel also shared a picture of himself with the precious newborn, who was resting comfortably in the hospital bed.
Vin has been in celebration mode for the past few weeks. Not only has the anticipation of his girlfriend giving birth made him happy, but the impending debut of FURIOUS 7 has also been exciting. “I made a promise to [Paul Walker] that I’d do everything to make [Furious 7] the best movie in history,” says Vin of his late friend, Paul Walker, who is also in the film. “And here we are with one of the most groundbreaking, important films of the millennium.”
Walker died on November 30, 2013, after being involved in a major car accident in Valencia, California. Vin along with the other cast members of the FURIOUS franchise now consider the latest installment of the series to be their final tribute to the actor who began starring in the action-packed films in 2002.
Vin Diesel is the proud father of three kids. The actor has not yet shared the name of his newborn child with media.
