Robby Novak, a.k.a. Kid President, is taking a stand against cyber bullying. The young star recently partnered with Coca Cola to bring an end to intimidation online.
“It’s bold and brave, and intended to disrupt the complacency that’s set in around online negativity,” says Coca Cola marketing director Jennifer Healan. “Our goal is to inspire America to become a collective force for positivity.”
Robby will lead a movement called #makeithappy that will launch on Super Bowl Sunday. Danica Patrick and Michael Slam are two of many stars who will be showcased in the #makeithappy Coca Cola commercial created for the big game. They, along with Kid President, will stress the importance of compassion in society.
“Coca-Cola has always stood for optimism, uplift and inclusion… and these core values have been a common thread in our advertising through the years,” says Coca Cola vice president Andy McMillan. “We hope this campaign inspires people across the country and around the world to show more positivity in their online actions, and to stop and think before posting a negative comment.”
You can catch Kid President spreading his message of encouragement during Super Bowl XLIX, which is set to air on NBC on Sunday, February 1, 2015. Watch the #makeithappy commercial teaser here.
