Guess who is hoping to have a child soon? Nicki Minaj! The singer revealed her desire to be a mom during a recent interview.
Nicki told Complex magazine that her greatest fear is, “That I’ll become so consumed with work that I’ll forget to live my personal life to the fullest.” The singer further explained, “If I’m done with my fifth album and I don’t have a child by then, no matter how much money I have, I would be disappointed, as a woman, because I feel like I was put here to be a mother.”
Although her desire to have a child is great, it is not greater than her wish to be married before kids. “I definitely will be married before I have my baby,” said Nicki to Complex. “I want to make sure I do it in that order. I’ve always felt like that since I was young; my mother always put that in my head.”
Minaj is currently promoting her third album, The Pinkprint, that is expected to make its debut on November 24, 2014. By her fifth record she hopes to be married with children, and have $500 million in the bank.
