Famed recording artist Nelly is gearing up for his new reality show, Nellyville.
The rapper will be faced with many challenges as the single parent of four teenagers. From college dorm rooms to high school dances, Nelly will be forced to deal with them all.
Viewers will see Chanelle and Cornell, Nelly’s biological kids, as well as the teens’ cousins whom Nelly adopted as his own after his sister died in 2005. The rapper gave insight into his reason for doing a reality show a few weeks ago telling media, “I’m doing a reality show more or less because I feel like at this point what we don’t see is single fathers that are doing what they’re supposed to do.” The artist further explained, “I wanted to be the first one to get a chance to say, ‘Yo. It is fathers out here that… We handling our business.’ I think we get a bad wrap on that so hopefully we can change things around.”
You will get to see Nelly and his kids when Nellyville premieres in coming weeks on November 25th. For now, check out the trailer.
