Is Kanye West in fear of his daughter’s life to the point of hiring a look-alike to serve as her double? Maybe so. Media sources allege that the rapper has spent upwards of $500,000 for a baby double in hopes of protecting North West from photographers.
According to HipHopDX.com,
“Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have reportedly paid $500,000 to enlist a body double for their daughter North West…The couple reportedly held tryouts for the stand-in child in Los Angeles. They also reportedly hired a body double for their nanny to further confuse paparazzi.”
Kanye told media a few months back that he was working to change the way that the paps photograph his daughter. “I’m changing things for my daughter,” said West. “I’m gonna tell my daughter by the time she understands, I’ll be like, ‘Me and your mother were in a completely different situation than you’re in. At that time paparazzi was legal, people could take your pictures, climb over your fence, people would do that and you wouldn’t even get paid for it. You see all these checks you getting at age six? It’s because people want to take your picture. I made that happen Nori.’ That’s what I will tell her.”
North is Kanye West’s first child with wife Kim Kardashian.
