Lamar Sally is not going to put up with Sherri Shepherd’s refusal to be a mother to their unborn child. The writer is allegedly planning to request a judge to force her to take legal responsibility for their little one, who will be born by surrogate in coming weeks, and pay child support.
TMZ reports,
“Sherri Shepherd will be sued if she doesn’t embrace the child she’s having this month via surrogate … so promises her very angry and determined estranged husband.
We’ve learned Lamar Sally is already drafting legal docs to prevent Sherri from backing out of the surrogate contract she signed while they were still a couple.”
Sherri shared a bit of her family troubles with Entertainment Tonight days prior to Lamar’s plans to sue being revealed to media. “I don’t know which husband is jumping on me for what. I got served at the Essence music festival. I had to go onstage. [They] served me right before I got onstage so I had a summons and complaint, and my jokes in the other hand. But you know what? You just got to smile through it all,” said the star.
Shepherd has one child, Jeffrey, with ex-husband Jeff Tarpley. She is currently in the process of divorcing Lamar Sally.
