Fifteen-year-old Jaden Smith’s outrageous ensemble quickly became one of the most talked about happenings at the wedding nuptials of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
Although Twitter and Instagram blew up with comments on the white Batman costume, some of the guests found it fun and unoffensive, including the mother of the bride Kris Jenner.
“He is the greatest kid in the world. I’m very close to Jaden and he’s like one of my own, you know,” Kris recently told Huffington Post Live.
Kris also said, “And he had this Batman costume on and I thought it was just genius. When you look at it … it sounds just crazy. It was beautiful. He looked so good, and so fun, and he also has a really good sense of humor.”
“Actually, the Batman costume was really cool and fabulous, and it was white and it was almost like, ‘Oh, there’s Jaden in his Batman costume,'” She added. “It wasn’t like a crazy thing. It was actually really fun, and he added such a, you know, humor to the night and it was great.”
Kris also revealed how Batman actually saved the day. The 58-year-old reality TV star misplaced her shoes that she planned on wearing back to Paris after the wedding and Jaden let her borrow his Batman shoes.
“So, Batman saved the day,” she joked.
During the Kimye wedding reception, Jaden took the liberty of photobombing some of the guests, including Kris Jenner. Wedding attendees jokingly dubbed Jaden “White Batman” because of his all white attire.
