Sherri Saum and her husband Kamar de los Reyes just welcomed twin boys to the world. Weighing in at just over 5 lbs, Michael and John are reported to be healthy and strong.
The actor parents are so excited, and with good reason. At 39 and 46 years of age, this is their first crack at parenting. “My husband has been amazing. He’s been working it and building stuff and he’s just awesome” Sherri stated proudly at the GLAAD awards last month.
Kamar is well known for his role on One Life to Live, and Sherri is currently portraying Lena on The Fosters, a new show about a lesbian couple who take in a girl on a bit of whim.
Their boys should be fraternal twins so, as Sherri put it, “hopefully [telling them apart] won’t be a challenge!” On Twitter the actress happily posted “The twitter-patter of four new feet. Welcome to the world John Rubén and Michael Luis!”
We wish this new family all the best.
