It’s official! Evelyn Lozada and Carl Crawford are the proud parents of a baby boy. The reality star gave birth to her and Carl’s first child together this morning. The Insider reports:
Our Nina Parker [of the Insider] has learned that at 3:55 AM MST Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada gave birth to a son, weighing 8 pounds and 21 inches long, with Los Angeles Dodgers superstar fiancé Carl Crawford by her side. Lozada exclusively tells Parker, “I’m literally on cloud nine! My baby boy is so handsome and I’m so geeked! I have been waiting for this little man to arrive and seeing his beautiful face is breathtaking. Thank God he came out quick.” Lozada goes on to reveal that Crawford, his family, Lozada’s daughter, sisters and nieces were also all there
It was just last year that Evelyn announced her and Carl’s expectancy after releasing a workout video that featured her doing ab exercises while pregnant. “When I first seen the clip [of the workout video] I was like, ‘Oh my God. I look a little heavy,'” said Lozada. “There were all of these negative comments and I’m like, ‘Wait until this baby news comes out. Little do you know, I was almost three months pregnant in wedged sneakers and working out my abs’…I did that while I was pregnant. Kudos to me.”
Evelyn,who already has a daughter named Shaniece from a previous relationship, has yet to release the newborn’s name. Lozada and Crawford are planning to wed in coming months.
