Chad Ochocinco recently tweeted about his daughter Jicyra Johnson(pictured),13, being suspended for disrespecting a teacher. According to Ochocinco the teacher asked his daughter why she was late and her response was, “Why does it matter? You still get paid, right?” Although he does not deny his daughter’s wrongdoing, Chad tells Twitter fans that he believes the offense is not worthy of a suspension; he then asks his followers to give their thoughts about the matter.
Since then, many individuals have given their opinion on the issue. While some have agreed with Ochocinco, many have viewed the response as a clear case of disrespect that is worthy of suspension. One commenter from Access Atlanta said, “Maybe this wasn’t the first instance. If detention doesn’t work, suspension is the next step. My child would have difficulty sitting down if she’d been that disrespectful to a teacher. And I’d also want to know why she was late!”
