Solange Knowles and her five-year-old son Julez are in Sydney, Australia. While in Australia, Julez, Solange, and a friend of hers have taken it upon themselves to visit the Daintree Rainforest. The singer has this to say about her adventures in the forest:
“I can not even put in words how amazing this trip has been. The rainforest, walks, & snorkeling the great barrier reef all with my Julezie. Yesterday we toured the Daintree rainforest! By car, foot & boat. The oldest rainforest in the world. It was breathtaking. Life changing. We swam in the crystal clear waters of the mossman gorge with some of the most beautiful children I’ve ever seen in my life: the aboriginals. So beautiful and strong.”
“Today we snorkled the great barrier reef. It was an experience i’ll never forget. Julez saw “nemo” the clownfish and almost lost his mind! I saw some of the most beautiful sights the world has to offer on this trip. Me and [my friend] and julez made monumental memories here. Now I hear some rustle and bustle outside our treehouse…last night sleeping in fear of croc’s or bats or spiders attacking for a while. This is living.”
Knowles is currently in Australia recording her new album with pop duo Midnight Juggernauts.
