NICK CANNON BRINGS FIVE OF HIS KIDS TOGETHER FOR ABBY DE LA ROSA’S BIRTHDAY

Nick Cannon brought five of his children together for a family outing at Sugar Factory to celebrate Abby De La Rosa’s birthday.

Cannon’s 15-year-old twins with Mariah Carey, Moroccan and Monroe, joined their siblings Zion, Zillion and Beautiful Zeppelin, whose mother is De La Rosa, for the celebration.

Cannon recently opened up about raising his children during a September interview with Us Weekly.

When asked whether he ever imagined having 12 children, Cannon said he had always wanted a big family and spoke it “into existence.”

“I come from a big, nontraditional, unorthodox family. My parents were teenagers when they had me, so my grandparents had a lot of influence on me,” he continued. “My grandmother was a foster mother, so I had hundreds of foster brothers and sisters growing up and learned how to take care of babies. It was always in me. I’m also a big kid at heart.”

Asked whether there was room for more children, Cannon pointed to his already busy family schedule.

“Right now, 12 is good. I’m in the car line every day, and there’s basketball, karate, jujitsu, tap, piano, guitar,” he said. “We come from a different generation; we were latchkey kids, and we had to take care of ourselves.”

“I don’t remember my dad or mom being at my recitals. My mom was working three jobs and my dad lived across the country,” he added.

Fans will get a closer look at Cannon’s family life in his upcoming Netflix docuseries. He told Us Weekly he was “so excited” to explain his relationships with the mothers of his children “in a way that isn’t a sound bite.”

“But I have an abundance of love, and I want to be the best provider and partner,” Cannon told the outlet. “I have the means to — not even speaking financially — be a helpmate to people, and I think that’s the root of it.”

In addition to his children with Carey and De La Rosa, Cannon shares Golden Sagon, Powerful Queen and Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell; Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; Onyx with LaNisha Cole; and Halo with Alyssa Scott. He and Scott also welcomed son Zen, who died at five months old in December 2021 following a brain cancer diagnosis.
