Ciara and Russell Wilson stepped out together for the 2026 WSJ. Magazine Innovator Awards on Thursday (Oct. 29).
The couple attended the annual ceremony at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, where Ciara showed off her baby bump in a floor-length black gown with an asymmetrical neckline and a cutout.
Russell complemented her look dressed in a navy blue satin suit and black turtleneck.
In one photo from the event, the former NFL player looked very much like the doting husband as he rested his hand on his wife’s belly.
The outing comes nearly two months after the couple announced that they are expecting another baby. On September 6, Ciara and Russell shared the news in a joint Instagram post featuring four shirts bearing their children’s names hanging on a clothesline, followed by a tiny white onesie.
“One more person to Love,” the couple captioned the announcement.
The baby will be Ciara’s fifth child and her fourth with Russell. The couple, who married in 2016, share daughters Sienna Princess, 9, and Amora Princess, 2, along with son Win Harrison, 6. Ciara is also mom to 12-year-old Future Zahir, whom she shares with rapper Future.
Just two days before the WSJ. Magazine event, Ciara and Russell were recognized as Philanthropists of the Year at Town & Country’s annual Philanthropy Summit on October 27 in New York City.
The two were honored for their work through the Why Not You Foundation, which supports children’s health, education, and opportunities for young people.
In a recent interview with Town & Country, Ciara discussed how the foundation’s mission extends to their own children.
“We say that we want to empower youth to lead with the ‘Why not you?’ attitude, and obviously that applies directly to our kids in our house,” Ciara told the magazine.
Thursday’s WSJ. Magazine Innovator Awards marked the event’s 16th year of recognizing influential figures across entertainment, fashion, technology, and other industries. This year’s honorees included Rosalía, Amy Poehler, filmmaker Martin McDonagh, and fashion designer Matthieu Blazy.
