STEVIE WONDER’S TEEN DAUGHTER ZAIAH MORRIS SHOWS OFF HER VOCALS SINGING ‘IMAGINE’

Stevie Wonder’s daughter Zaiah Morris showed off her vocals while performing with her dad at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on Wednesday, October 28.

The 13-year-old sang John Lennon’s “Imagine” as Wonder accompanied her on piano. Two days earlier, she performed the same song at his concert at Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany.

Both appearances were part of Wonder’s tour celebrating the 50th anniversary of his album Songs in the Key of Life.

Zaiah has been making a name for herself while sharing her father’s love of music. In 2020, she and her younger sister, Nyah, were among five of his children featured on “Where Is Our Love Song.”

In addition to joining her dad on tour, Zaiah has performed at showcases hosted by La Voix Studio.

Our Society TV caught up with her for her first red-carpet interview at a May show presented by La Voix Studio and Maison de Music Foundation. The interviewer asked how she felt after taking the stage with her group for a tribute to the Jacksons.

“At first I was a little nervous, but, like, everyone in my group was so supportive and nice, so it really, like, calmed me down. I had so much fun,” she told the outlet. “I let the Michael Jackson angel come down on me and help me sing.”

When the interviewer asked which artists inspire her, Zaiah named Etta James, Beyoncé and Billie Eilish.

“I love Beyoncé, like ever since I was a little baby,” she said, before singing a snippet of Beyoncé’s “1+1.”

Zaiah and Nyah are the youngest of Wonder’s nine children. He shares the girls with his wife, Tomeeka Robyn Bracy.

Wonder’s anniversary tour continues at Dublin’s 3Arena on November 1, followed by London’s O2 on November 3 and 5, Manchester’s Co-op Live on November 8 and Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on November 11. The shows celebrate five decades of Songs in the Key of Life, with Wonder performing the album in full.
