PIERRE “P” THOMAS’ DAUGHTER JOURNEY SPEAKS OUT AFTER HIS HEART ATTACK: ‘MY DAD IS TRULY A MIRACLE’

Pierre “P” Thomas’ daughter, Journey, is thanking God as her dad continues to recover from a recent heart attack.

The 18-year-old shared an emotional message about the Quality Control Music co-founder on social media on Wednesday.

“God is good. My dad is truly a miracle, and I’m so blessed to still be able to say he’s here,” Journey wrote. “God’s grace has carried us through every moment.”

Thomas was hospitalized in the ICU at a Las Vegas hospital after suffering a heart attack on August 21. As news of his health scare spread, false reports began circulating online that the music executive had died.

Quality Control quickly shut down the rumors, confirming that Thomas was alive and receiving medical care.

Earlier this week, the label shared another update, revealing that his condition continues to improve.

“I’m so grateful to share that P is improving and recovering more and more every day,” the statement read. “Your prayers are working, so please keep them coming.”

Journey is Thomas’ oldest daughter and one of his five publicly known children. She was born on September 8, 2007, and will celebrate her 19th birthday next month.

The teen has shared a close relationship with her father over the years. In 2023, Thomas went all out for Journey’s Sweet 16 celebration, where he surprised his firstborn with her choice of several luxury cars.

Fatherhood has long been important to the music executive. In a 2019 Father’s Day post featuring all five of his children, Thomas reflected on being able to give his kids opportunities he didn’t have growing up.

“They got everything in this world that I never had,” he wrote. “Happy Fathers Day To All The Real Dad’s. #FO5.”

That same year, Thomas spoke about the effort he puts into providing a different life for his children.

“No I’m not perfect but if anyone knows me they know I go hard every day so my children will never have to go through what I’ve been through,” he said.

Thomas co-founded Quality Control Music with Kevin “Coach K” Lee in 2013 and helped build the Atlanta label behind artists including Migos, Lil Baby and City Girls.
