Swizz Beatz, wife Alicia Keys and their kids turned ONE PIECE Fest 2026 into a family affair.
The couple attended the event at Cosm Los Angeles in Inglewood, California, on August 24, with Nicole Dean, Nasir Dean, Egypt Daoud Dean and Genesis Dean in tow.
ONE PIECE Fest celebrates the hit Japanese anime series of the same name, which happens to be a favorite of Nasir’s. The 25-year-old, who goes by Note Marcato, has been a longtime anime fan and has incorporated that passion into his work as an artist.
“Congrats to our son @notemarcato and his endless work in the anime space this was amazing King,” Swizz wrote on Instagram following the family outing. “Congrats @onepieceanimeofficial Fest it was amazing.”
Earlier this year, Nasir joined forces with Mercer Labs founder Roy Nachum for The World of ONE PIECE, an immersive exhibition in New York City.
Nasir served as creative producer on the project, which brought the popular anime to life across more than 25 galleries at Mercer Labs. The exhibition used projections, sound and interactive installations to take visitors through different parts of the ONE PIECE world.
The project also allowed Nasir to combine his work as an artist with something he has loved since childhood.
“I’ve always been drawn to anime because it’s not afraid to be emotional, surreal, or larger than life,” he told Prazzle Arts while discussing the exhibition.
That influence extends beyond his visual work. Nasir explained that anime has shaped his approach to music, fashion and storytelling, adding that he often thinks about his songs “like scenes in an anime.”
Nasir has been carving out his own creative path for years. In addition to his work as Note Marcato, he previously appeared alongside his father in the Hulu series Drive with Swizz Beatz, which followed the pair as they explored car cultures around the world.
Swizz and Keys welcomed Egypt in 2010 and Genesis in 2014. Keys is also stepmom to Swizz’s children from previous relationships: Nasir, Kasseem Dean Jr. and Nicole Dean.
