General Hospital star Sawandi Wilson and his wife, Anna Eilinsfeld, have officially introduced their daughter, Zelda Dana Eilinsfeld Wilson.
Wilson took to Instagram on Monday to share several photos of the newborn, including one of her sleeping on his chest.
“THE LEGEND OF : ZELDA DANA EILINSFELD WILSON,” he captioned. “5 days in the NICU. Pediatric appointments. Checking out of the hospital with a clean bill of health…PRICELESS.”
Eilinsfeld also posted snapshots of Zelda and revealed that their baby girl was born early on August 10, weighing 8 lbs., 3 oz.
“Welcome to the world Zelda Dana Eilinsfeld Wilson! She arrived early on Monday, August 10 — 8 lbs, 3 oz and already keeping us on our toes,” she wrote.
The new mom added that the couple’s dog, Brando, is adjusting to his new role as “big brother.”
“Big brother Brando is adjusting like a pro, everyone’s happy and healthy, and I’m recovering well. We’re completely obsessed with her and wanted to share the joy!”
Last week, Wilson revealed that his wife experienced serious complications while giving birth to Zelda.
“I want to give a shout-out to the whole team at Cedars-Sinai Medical,” he began. “You guys are incredible. You saved my baby’s life. You saved my wife’s life, and you saved my life. So I love you guys. Thank you so much.”
“Outside the operating room. Not on the set of [General Hospital]. This is real life, and I’m ready to meet my baby,” he continued. “They called me in. I’m hearing alarms go off. A doctor shows me to my wife [and] before I get to her I see her intestines, and I’m seeing like the floor is slippery with blood.”
Thankfully, both Eilinsfeld and Zelda made it safely through the ordeal.
Wilson and Eilinsfeld married in Philadelphia in December 2024, the same year the actor joined General Hospital as Dr. Isaiah Gannon.
The couple announced they were expecting their first child in May with maternity photos featuring them and Brando.
“Brando has been an only child for long enough. Baby on board — due August 2026,” they wrote at the time.
