Blue Ivy Carter has fans doing a double take over her resemblance to mom Beyoncé after joining her dad, Jay-Z, onstage at SoFi Stadium on Friday, October 23.
The 14-year-old played piano during “The Story of O.J.” and “Dead Presidents” on the opening night of his two-night JAŸ-Z30 celebration.
After their performance, Jay-Z bowed toward his daughter and asked the crowd to show her some love.
“Please put your hands together, make a heavenly noise for the multi-talented, the most incredible Blue Ivy Carter,” he said.
The two shared a hug before Blue threw up the Roc hand sign and walked offstage.
While Blue wowed the crowd with her musical talents, her look also caught attention online. She wore a red, white and blue jacket with blue eyeshadow and long golden curls styled half-up, half-down, reminding fans of Beyoncé during her Destiny’s Child days.
“Omg, Blue Ivy is so beautiful,” X user @CELIAYONCE wrote. “She looks exactly like Destiny’s Child era Beyoncé. The resemblance is INSANE!”

Beyoncé was ever the proud mom as she cheered from a suite alongside fellow Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Videos showed the trio dancing and singing along during the concert.
Blue previously showed off her piano skills at Jay-Z’s July 10 concert at Yankee Stadium, where she played during “Feelin’ It.” She also danced alongside her mom on the Renaissance World Tour in 2023 and the Cowboy Carter Tour in 2025.
During a March interview with GQ, Jay-Z praised his daughter’s musical abilities and revealed that she prefers to teach herself.
“She won’t let us get her a teacher,” he said. “She doesn’t want it to be a job. But she has perfect pitch.”
