North West is officially a teenager!
The daughter of Kim Kardashian and Ye (formerly Kanye West) turned 13 on June 15, and her famous family made sure the milestone didn’t go unnoticed.
Kardashian took to Instagram to share a sweet tribute for her eldest child.
“Happy Birthday my Northiiiiiieeeeeeeee (Uzi voice!!!). I can’t believe you are officially a teenager!!!!! There’s no one like you my baby girl! I love being your mom and watching you grow. I love you to the aliens galaxies you would speak of as a kid and beyond,” she wrote.
North’s grandmother, Kris Jenner, also celebrated the milestone with a message of her own.
“Happy Birthday my amazing North! You are beautiful, brilliant, creative, funny, and smart, and you have such a love for life and everything it has to offer. I love watching you grow, and seeing you find your own path and passions has been such a joy, and I am so proud of the incredible young lady you are. Keep dreaming big and shining bright… I am so proud of you!! We all love you so much!! Lovey xo @northwest,” Jenner wrote.
In just a short period of time, North has made many of her dreams come true. In a 2023 interview with i-D Magazine, she said she hoped to one day become a rapper, basketball player, artist, and business owner.
Three years later, some of those goals are already taking shape.
In May, the 13-year-old released her debut EP, N0rth4evr, a five-track project that features her rapping in both English and Japanese while blending elements of emo, rage rap, and hyperpop.
Shortly after the EP’s release, North made her music festival debut with a surprise appearance during rapper Molly Santana’s set at Rolling Loud in Orlando. A month later, she stepped onto the stage at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash 2026 in Chicago for her first solo festival set. During the performance, she ran through songs from N0rth4evr and performed “TALKING,” her collaboration with father Ye from the Vultures 1 album.
North has also been busy collaborating with other young artists. Earlier this month, she teamed up with Lil Wayne’s son, Lil Novi, for the song “Mula The Root of All Evil.” The pair had previously worked together when North produced Novi’s track “Justswagup.”
In addition to music, North has shown an interest in art and fashion. Over the years, Kardashian has shared examples of her daughter’s artwork on social media, giving fans a glimpse into her creative side.
North has also taken steps into the business world. In 2023, Kardashian filed trademarks for NOR11, a brand tied to her eldest daughter that covers a wide range of products, including clothing, accessories, beauty items, and toys.
While it remains to be seen which path North ultimately chooses, the teenager is already exploring many of the interests she once said she hoped to pursue.
