Pusha T may be preparing to welcome his second child, but the rapper is making headlines for a very unexpected confession about parenting duties.
The Grammy-nominated artist and wife Virginia Thornton recently announced they are expecting another baby boy. Thornton shared the joyful news on Instagram on Nov. 14, followed shortly by Pusha T’s own message, one that raised quite a few eyebrows.
In his tribute post, Pusha T thanked his wife for their growing family but also admitted he’s never handled some of the day-to-day tasks many parents know all too well.
“Thank you for my second baby boy,” he wrote. “I hope you carry on with tradition and never teach me how to change a diaper, prep a meal, suck out a snotty nose, or anything else a Supermom does. You make things very easy for me and I love and appreciate you for it all.”
The comment sent social media into full debate mode, especially from moms and dads who were shocked that the rapper doesn’t pitch in with diapers, meals, or sick-day clean-ups for their 4-year-old son, Nigel Brixx.
Some fans even pointed out the irony of Pusha T once calling out Drake for “hiding a child,” only to now reveal he doesn’t participate in certain parts of parenting his own.
One fan wrote on X, “Me, smiling, reading Pusha T caption about his wife pregnancy, then getting to the last part. Huh?”
Another wrote that Pusha T’s comment, “ruined her morning.” “Pusha T admitting he doesn’t do a single thing to help his wife with a newborn has just ruined my morning because wtf do you mean ?!”
A third X user stated, “Pusha T be in the house foaming at the mouth about drake meanwhile his wife in the other room praying for some help with the kid.”
One social media user encouraged the entertainer, to “go change that diaper.” “pusha t you are hiding (from) a child, go and change that diaper, let em be your world.”
The new addition to Pusha T’s family is due to meet the world in the spring of 2026.
