Chance Combs is ready for her close-up.
The daughter of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is making her on-screen debut in I Do Without You, a short film written and directed by Vivian Miranda.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Combs shared a clip from the project, captioning it, “A short film I filmed in late 2023.”
I Do Without You follows Amelia, a newly engaged woman who, out of desperation for a maid of honor, reconnects with her estranged high school best friend, Cassie.
The twist? They haven’t spoken in a decade, and Amelia once stole Cassie’s high school crush.
Chance plays Young Cassie in the film, starring opposite Natallie Sigler, who portrays Young Amelia.
Although this is her first on-screen role, Chance has been drawn to acting since childhood. In a 2023 interview with V Magazine, she shared how she got her start in theater and improv classes at just five years old.
“Acting has helped me evolve more as a person, and it’s helped me step out of my comfort zone,” she shared.
Currently a student at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Chance credited her dad for setting an example early on.
“Growing up, we’ve always been around different artists and in the studio with our dad,” she said. “Even though we don’t want to pursue music right now, just seeing his work ethic and persistence has definitely been a big contributor to the drive we have to pursue our dreams.”
Sean “Diddy” Combs shares Chance with model Sarah Chapman. He is also father to daughter Love Sean, twins D’Lila Star and Jessie James, sons King and Justin Dior, and his eldest, Quincy Brown,
I Do Without You is set to screen at the 2025 Burbank International Film Festival from September 13–18. You can purchase tickets HERE.
