Nicki Minaj is sharing more rare glimpses into her and “Papa Bear’s” quality time together. First, it was a birthday shoutout at the end of last month and now the “Bang Bang” singer is sharing more rare photos of her adorable four-year-old.
After her concert in Raleigh, N.C., on October 8, the 41-year-old rapper posted a carousel of images on Instagram, featuring moments from the show and a few tender shots with her son.
“#GagCityRaleigh was 1 for the books,” the mother-of-one began her carousel post. “I hope I made you guys as happy as you made me. It was a magical night. After a long night, I rushed back to the hotel just to see my little guy. I was sure he’d be asleep once I realized how late it was tho… but when I walked in, surprise- he was waiting up for mama. Until next time, North Carolina. Love you.”
Minaj shares her son with with childhood sweetheart and husband, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty. As mentioned, “Papa Bear,” on September 30, celebrated his fourth birthday. The singer took to to Instagram posting a carousel of images and video in celebration.
The “Barbie World” singer captioned her post, “Happy 4th birthday, buddy. You’ve made mama & daddy so happy. Since you were in mama’s tummy, you gave me a whole new meaning to life. Hope.”
Minaj concluded with a special prayer just for “Papa Bear”. “May God watch over you always & guide your path. No weapon formed against you will prosper. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.”
In a previous interview the “Pink Friday Girls” singer said that since she became a mother, she is a “more of a forgiving person” and “see[s] more good in people [and] the universe.”
We hope that Minaj continues to share more of her motherhood journey! We are definitely here for it!
