Lauren London and Lil Wayne are celebrating their son, Kameron Carter, as he turns 15 years old today(September 9th).
To mark the occasion, Lauren took to Instagram, sharing a tribute to her son. She described Kameron as the “heart” of the family and expressed her deep love for him.
“King Kam!,” she began, “The Reason. The Heart of this family. The Universe shifted with your presence. Pure Soul, Pure Love. I adore you, and I’m so proud of you. Happy 15th Birthday, baby boy.”
Kameron’s younger brother, Kross Ermias Asghedom, also had a recent birthday, turning 8 on August 31, 2024.
Lauren paid tribute to her son with the late Nipsey Hussle, calling him her “little wise one”.
She wrote, “Kross, My little Wise One. You are the Hope and Promise. God shines through you. Happy 8th Birthday to my baby,” she wrote alongside a photo of her second-born.
Since Nipsey’s tragic passing in 2019, Lauren has continued to be a pillar of strength for her sons. During a 2023 interview with Hoda & Jenna, she opened up about the challenges of parenting while navigating grief.
“I think I’ve been extremely open with them about the grief process as well, as much as I can. But also, I’m just extremely intentional with them and really conscious of how I’m influencing them and how I’m showing up for them.”
Reflecting on her parenting, Lauren continued, “I’m more compassionate now as a mother than i was before. I have a teenager, so i’m doing some inner child teenage work with myself because i want to understand him. And they really keep me afloat.”
“I always say they deserve a happy, healthy, happy, joyful mom, and I don’t want to rob them of that experience,” the actress added.
