Kanye West‘s daughter, North West, made a surprise appearance at a listening party for West’s upcoming album, Vultures, in Miami on Tuesday, December 12.
Taking to the stage, North delivered a verse from a track on her dad’s highly joint album with Ty Dolla $ign. The 10-year-old rapped, “I love it here, we gonna take over the year for another year, it’s your bestie, Miss Miss Westie, don’t try to test me, it’s gonna get messy, it’s gonna get messy, just bless me.”
The song not only features North, but also includes vocals from James Blake, with whom Kanye is reportedly collaborating on a separate album.
This isn’t the first time North has graced the stage with her father, as fans may recall her memorable appearance during Kanye’s YEEZY SZN 8 show for Paris Fashion Week in 2020. However, her recent rap debut is her first-ever musical collaboration with her dad.
North, who is Kanye West and Kim Kardashian‘s eldest child, often shows off her love for her father’s music on her TikTok account. On the social media platform, the tween showcases her dance moves while lip-syncing to her dad’s songs.
Notably, for Halloween, she paid homage to Kanye’s iconic bear mascot from the “Graduation” album and danced to hits like “I Wonder,” “Can’t Tell Me Nothing,” and a sped-up version of Estelle’s “American Boy.”
In a recent interview with I-D magazine, North revealed her favorite song, Ye’s “Through The Wire,” and expressed her aspirations, including wanting to be a basketball player, rapper, and artist.
She even envisions owning her parents’ businesses in the future. “One day, I want to own Yeezy and SKIMS, and I want to be a business owner,” she said.
North also shared her love for singing and performing, saying that her talent is “mostly from me though. And then a little bit of my dad.”
In addition to Miss West, Kim and Kanye share children Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4.
