John Legend and Chrissy Teigen take Miles and Luna on one last “back to school” vacation. The foursome headed to the Berkshires for a last round of fun.
“Berkshires. What are we doing without Dorinda!!??” Teigen captioned her carousel of their mountain fun.
Legend also got in on the social media sharing, posting his own carousel of fun. The 44-year-old EGOT-winner simply captioned his post, “A weekend in the Berkshires before back to school!”
If you remember, back in August, the former model and cookbook author told People Magazine, in an exclusive interview, that she and her husband are spreading the love equally among all four of their children, especially the older ones. The duo wants to ensure that their older children, “feel loved and taken care of and just as special as the babies.”
“There’s a lot of diaper changing and feeding and it seems like you’re coddling these two little babies and they’re not getting enough,” she said at the time in her interview. “I was speaking with my therapist and I was like, ‘I’m having a hard time because I want to make sure that Miles and Luna feel like we still love them.'”
In the interview, she revealed that that was “hardest part” for her of parenting four children. She continued saying that she struggles with worrying that “you’re never going to give enough to your kids.”
“They’re always going to ask for more, so it’s important to give them the things they need but also support yourself so you don’t go crazy,” she told the popular entertainment news outlet.
“I didn’t grow up around babies or children, so seeing my children experience a world with littles coming in, I see how that could be hard for them. So we try to do the best we can to make sure they feel fulfilled and happy and paid attention to and listened to. It can be a lot, it’s a lot to give yourself to little beings, but we sign up for it. We ask for it and we want to do it, and it’s all okay.”
In addition to seven-year-old Luna and five-year-old Miles, the couple share seven-month-old Esti and 10-week-old Wren.
From what we see, it truly looks like Teigen and Legend are unquestionably giving a master class in parenting multiples. They transparently allow us all to see that they are trying to do the best that they can to make it all work. Luna, Miles, Wren, and Esti all truly seem like happy children all around!
