Lanisha Cole is enjoying her life as a mom. The photographer took to Instagram over the weekend to share snippets of her life, which included lots of pictures of her baby girl, Onyx Cannon.

“You might as well hit the follow button while you’re here,” Lanishsa wrote in the caption section of her social media post. “Been a follower for a while now and I must say: It’s fun over here,” one fan exclaimed. Another of Lanisha’s supporters wrote, “You heard her. Hit that follow button.”

Many of Lanisha Cole’s social media fans shared excitement about her growing relationship with filmmaker and producer Brian Paul Kuba. “I love your union,” one fan said after seeing a candid of Lanisha and Brian together. “Continue to thrive,” the supporter added. “The outside noise is nothing but the volume that you’re doing everything right. Energy and blessings to you.”

Lanisha Cole has heard a lot of “outside noise” because of the father of her child, Nick Cannon, who has twelve children in all. Some critics recently called her “Baby Mama #538,” which garnered a response from Cole.

“For the people who still feel the need to be nasty towards me and send me disrespectful messages … I get that it’s easy to sit on your phone and look at a tiny glimpse of a person’s life and feel like you’re better than them,” Lanisha shared in an Instagram post. “Yes, I’ve made mistakes. Yes, I’ve put myself through unnecessary pain and heartbreak. But I’m choosing to do better,” she added. “Calling me baby mama #538 every time I say the sky is blue is uncalled for and it’s getting old,” Cole said.

Nick Cannon and Lanisha Cole welcomed baby Onyx last year. Nick requested his fans and critics to direct their scrutiny his way because of Lanisha’s desire to maintain her privacy. Cannon recently made waves after forgetting to include his and Lanisha’s daughter when naming his twelve children in order of their birthdays on The Howard Stern Show.

“You left out Onyx Ice Cole,” Howard told Nick after the entertainer named eleven out of twelve kids. “You know, I did,” Cannon said. “You threw me off because I was going in order,” Nick told Howard.

Onyx celebrates her first birthday in September.
