Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict will spend the holidays together despite their pending divorce. The celebrity mom recently told TMZ that she and the kids are excited about the reunion.
“Yes, we are going to be spending the holidays with him, which we’re really excited about,” Tia shared. “With the whole family,” she added.
“Family is family no matter what happens, and that’s what’s important to me,” Mowry went on to share with TMZ. “We will always be family,” the actress declared.
Tia Mowry announced her and Cory Hardrict’s plans to divorce last month. “I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different,” Tia wrote in an Instagram post. “I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways,” the actress revealed. “These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness.”
Cory and Tia were married for 14 years before deciding to divorce. They welcomed two children, Cree and Cairo, during their marriage.
“I knew [my marriage was over] when I really started to focus on my happiness,” Tia shared during a recent interview. “I feel like women, we tend to focus on everybody else’s happiness, making sure that everybody else is OK — meaning our children, our friends, our family,” she added.
“At the end of the day, it’s about self-love,” Mowry told the press. “When you start to really work on yourself, love yourself, know your value and know your worth, then all of a sudden, there’s this awakening,” the actress said. “It’s not easy,” Tia admitted. “It’s a hard journey, but at the end of the day, I feel like it is so, so worth it.”
Cory Hardrict and Tia Mowry celebrated their son Cree’s eleventh birthday in June. Cairo turned four years old in May. The details of Tia and Cory’s divorce will unfold in the coming months.
