NE-YO AND MONYETTA SHAW CELEBRATE SON’S 10TH BIRTHDAY

Ne-Yo and Monyetta Shaw are in full celebration mode as their son, Mason Evan Smith, commemorates his tenth birthday on Saturday (Oct. 9). Both celebrity parents took to Instagram with birthday messages.

“Happy B-Day Mason Evan Shaw/Smith,” Ne-Yo wrote to his son. “I love you so much,” the celebrity father further doted on his little one. “You’re a great big bro to your lil’ bro’s (sic) and lil’ sis,” Ne-Yo told his son. “You’re a great lil’ bro to your big sis. You’re a great son. YOU’RE JUST GREAT,” the celebrity father exclaimed.

“And you will continue to be great as you grow into a young man,” Ne-Yo continued. “I love you for the rest of your life, if you screw up, if you change the world, if you do nothing at all, I WILL NEVER NOT LOVE YOU KIDDO! Know that. Happy 10th bday to my firstborn son! The Prince. Love, light, and all of me, kid. That’s what I got for you.”

Mason’s mom, Monyetta Shaw, also took to Instagram to commemorate her son’s special day. “Screaming HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my son shine, Prince Mason, Nice Guy Maso,” Monyetta wrote to her son. “We love you so very much son,” the celebrity mom exclaimed. “I’m beyond blessed to be your Mom! Keep spreading love and light,” Monyetta wrote to her son. “Here’s to another trip around the sun.”

Mason is the youngest of Ne-Yo and Monyetta Shaw’s two kids. The celebrities parent in harmony with Ne-Yo’s wife, Crystal Smith, who took to Instagram to celebrate Mason’s birthday along with the youngster’s biological parents.

Monyetta Shaw, who wrote a book centered around the subject of co-parenting, recently commented on her positive relationship with Ne-Yo and Crystal Smith that leads to the cultivation of a beautiful blended family.

“I have to be more lenient and accepting,” Monyetta said with MadameNoire regarding her parenting tactics. “That’s the beauty of our blended family,” Shaw continued. “Just putting your ego to the side and doing what’s best for the kids, that’s been the number one thing,” the Keep It Classy writer shared. “It’s not always peaches and cream or perfect, but for the kids, it can be. You can make it pleasant.”
