Tia Mowry’s daughter, Cairo Tiahna Hardrict, sometimes mistakes her aunt Tamera for her mom. Tia shares the details with PEOPLE exclusively.
“When my daughter Cairo was looking at my sister’s daughter [Ariah Talea, 5], she goes, ‘Cairo?’ We feel like Cairo and Ariah look alike,” Tia shares. “And then when she looks at my sister Tamera, she’ll go, ‘Mama.’ Because she thinks it’s me,” the celebrity mom says. “That’s what it’s like having a twin in the family,” Tia quips.
Cairo Hardrict celebrated her second birthday in May. The youngster had a small gathering that included her mom, father, and brother at home. Cairo’s party had a Mexican theme, which was more than appropriate since the youngster shares her birthday with the Cinco de Mayo holiday.
“#happybirthday to you #cairo,” Tia wrote to her daughter on Cairo’s special day. “Today you are #2,” the celebrity mom gushed. “You have grown into such an amazing beautiful girl. I feel so #blessed to be your mother! You are so smart, you give the best kisses, and are so eager to learn and explore! Mommy loves you so much!”
