Did Kenya Moore shade Porsha Williams over Pilar Jhena’s recent hair drama? Maybe so. The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star, and Kenya Moore Hair Care owner, recently took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter Brooklyn Daly’s growing mane. Some took Kenya’s celebration as her way of subtly poking at Porsha.
The drama over Pilar Jhena’s hair began last week when Porsha decided to share pictures of her daughter enjoying quality time with family. Critics accused Porsha of ruining her daughter’s hair because of Pilar’s braids that included added hair. Some pointed to Pilar’s edges as proof of hair loss. Porsha was quick to shut down the haters by both blocking and responding to them.
“B I N G O,” Porsha told the trolls. “A lot of you MF’s just got Blocked,” the RHOA star said. “I hope your comment about my baby’s hair was worth it,” Porsha continued. “Her hair is longer and healthier than yours so please mind y’all bald-headed business! Thank you.”
Not long after Porsha Williams defended her baby girl came Kenya Moore’s post about her daughter. The hair mogul shared a candid of her daughter with fans along with the caption, “Baby Hair.” Some of Kenya’s fans took the caption as direct shade to Porsha Williams over Pilar Jhena’s hair drama.
“Beautiful baby girl,” one of Kenya’s fans said. “Real hair, no braids needed,” the social media follower added. Another Instagram fan said, “Brooklyn is a doll. I love how Kenya doesn’t put extensions on Brooklyn’s hair.”
Many fans encouraged the alleged shade. One critic of Kenya’s, however, was not pleased to see the RHOA star’s apparent dig. “Don’t use your baby to throw shade,” the critic said. “You never change, baby no baby. Just evil.”
Did Kenya Moore actually throw shade at Porsha Williams over Pilar Jhena’s hair? No one can say for sure. It is evident, though, that the celebrity moms are not the best of friends. Stay tuned for more Real Housewives of Atlanta family news!
