Vanessa Morgan and her husband, Michael Kopech, are getting a divorce after just six months of marriage. News of the planned marriage dissolution comes on the heels of Vanessa sharing the news of her pregnancy with Instagram fans.
According to the Chicago Tribune,
“Kopech filed on June 19 in Morris County in northeast Texas, where he grew up, according to court information. The case was sealed Monday after a Tribune inquiry. No hearing date is scheduled.”
Vanessa Morgan shared the news of her pregnancy this past weekend. “I am overjoyed to be welcoming my baby boy into the world this January,” the Riverdale actress wrote online. “This little guy has already brought me so much happiness and a feeling of such a greater purpose. I cannot wait to meet you,” Morgan exclaimed.
Some celebrities remain on the fence about getting their kids involved in show business. Vanessa, however, specifically told her fans that she had no desire to get her baby boy into the industry immediately. “I am very much looking forward to giving this little guy some room to grow up outside of the public eye,” the expectant star told her fans.
“You were made with so much love and already exude a light so strong it warms my belly,” Vanessa wrote to her unborn son. “Thank you God for this blessing,” she added. “I’m just so happy and can’t wait to dedicate every day to being the best mommy I can be.”
