Officially introducing Ava Dior Waller! Hazel-E shared candids from her daughter’s first photo shoot with her Instagram fans this past weekend.
“I’ve never felt love like this,” the Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition star told her Instagram fans. One social media follower deemed Hazel and her fiance De’Von Waller’s love story with Ava as the newest addition as nothing short of “a fairytale come to life.”
Hazel and De’Von welcomed their daughter on June 15, 2020. Ava came seven months after her parents got engaged, which was partially made possible by Hazel and De’Von’s time on Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition. Some criticized Hazel-E and her fiance for doing the show, which is meant to bring relationship issues to the forefront in front of the masses. Hazel, however, recently told the press that the show was ultimately a positive experience for her and De’Von.

“I was really proud of myself for finishing this program,” Hazel shared exclusively with PEOPLE TV. “So many days I wanted to pack up and walk out of the house. Like, ‘Forget this. I don’t need it. I’m not here to be ridiculed, judged, or told what to do like I’m some kid.'”
“For me, personally, finishing was everything,” Hazel continued. “It was everything that I needed for myself; to just know that I could get through something.”
Lessons came on the relationship level as well. “We learned how to fight with each other,” Hazel said of the exercises that advocated de-escalation over unbridled words. “He was proving himself to me the whole time,” Hazel admitted. “But I needed. I needed him to jump through these hula hoops for me.”
