KENYA MOORE AND HUSBAND MARC DALY TALK ABOUT THEIR IVF JOURNEY ON ‘THE TAMRON HALL SHOW’

Kenya Was A Trooper Throughout The Process

Kenya Moore of the Real Housewives of Atlanta recently stopped by The Tamron Hall Show with her husband, Marc Daly, and baby, Brooklyn Daly. The RHOA family talked about life, and Kenya placed a special emphasis on her and Marc’s IVF journey.

Moore met her husband at 46-years-old. The couple wed after several months of courtship. Kenya and Marc knew that they wanted to expand their family. Having a child by traditional means, however, presented a significant challenge. Kenya and Marc, therefore, decided to go the way of IVF. Moore administered her own hormonal shots and, as Marc told Tamron, was a trooper throughout the entire process.

“It’s weird because you hear other people’s troubles with the injections and the hormones. And for me, it was a pretty simple process,” Kenya said during an interview with PEOPLE last year. Of course, not every mom’s process is simple. In fact, many women struggle with fertility issues even after undergoing IVF treatments. It is for these individuals that Kenya Moore and Tamron Hall shared their personal stories during Monday’s show.

Kenya has even taken her passion further by working with the Baby Quest Foundation. The non-profit offers funding to women with fertility issues desiring to have a child but lack the money needed to undergo IVF treatments. According to the foundation’s website,

“Baby Quest was born from one young woman’s struggles to have a child. … It is not easy to battle the demon of infertility. Those affected are up against insurance companies who refuse to cover the costs of physicians, labs, and medications. … Baby Quest has grown one grant, one IVF, one new baby at a time. More than anything, our grant program offers hope to many who feel lost.”

Brooklyn Daly was born last November. Learn more about the Baby Quest Foundation here. Stay tuned for more Real Housewives of Atlanta baby news!
