Cameron Boyce may be gone but he is not forgotten. The late Disney star’s father, Victor Boyce, launched a charity, The Cameron Boyce Foundation, in his son’s honor. The recent effort received loads of support from Adam Sandler and dozens of Cameron’s fans.
“Now is the time to make a change,” Victor told social media fans. “Donate what you can,” the celebrity’s father admonished. “Encourage your friends and family to do the same,” he added. “Let’s keep Cameron’s legacy alive and make a positive difference in the World.”
Cameron Boyce passed away on July 6, 2019, after suffering a seizure related to epilepsy. The young star passed away while resting in his North Hollywood home, which left his family and friends in utter shock.
“I don’t even know where to start,” Skai Jackson wrote in response to learning of her close friend’s death. “Cam, you were one of a kind,” she shared. “My heart will be forever broken. I am so happy that I got to spend almost every day with you on set, you gave the best hugs. I wish I would have hugged you tighter when I saw you a couple of months ago. Thank you so much for being the big brother I never had.”

Adam Sandler was so moved by the life of Cameron Boyce that he worked to raise upwards of $15,000 for the new charity that his parents launched in the late Disney star’s honor. Most of the funds raised came from an online campaign that garnered support from more than 350 contributors.
According to the nonprofit’s website,
“The Cameron Boyce Foundation provides young people artistic and creative outlets as alternatives to violence and negativity and uses resources and philanthropy for positive change in the world.”
