After taking down her childhood idol Venus Williams in the first round and Magdalena Rybarikova in the second round, tennis prodigy Cori “Coco” Gauff continued her winning streak at Wimbledon on Friday by beating Polona Hercog and reaching the fourth round.
The 15-year-old is now just one victory away from the quarterfinals at the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club. She will face No. 7-seeded Simona Halep on Monday.
Gauff’s three victories have made her the youngest tennis player to win a match in the prestigious tournament since Jennifer Capriati in 1991.
