T.I. AND TINY’S DAUGHTER HEIRESS HARRIS WOWS CROWD AT CULTURE’S COLDEST ICON HONORS

T.I. and Tiny Harris’ daughter, Heiress Harris, showed off her impressive vocals with a performance of Whitney Houston’s “Greatest Love of All” at the Culture’s Coldest Icon Honors in Atlanta on Wednesday, October 21.

The 10-year-old singer took the stage after an introduction from actress Marsai Martin, who hosted the event.

Heiress performed the classic ballad in front of an audience that included former President Bill Clinton.

Tiny shared footage from the evening on Instagram and revealed that Clinton was on his way out when he heard her daughter sing.

“She stopped President Clinton in his tracks as he was leaving & he stayed to the watch her!!!” she wrote.

Heiress prepared for the event with just a few hours of rehearsal. According to her mom, she worked with vocal coach Regina Love two days beforehand. That same week, Heiress also sang with her fifth-grade chorus and participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony at school.

“Super proud of my babygirl,” Tiny added.

Kim Blackwell’s Culture’s Coldest Icon Honors recognized figures across entertainment, fashion, sports and other fields. Civil rights leader Andrew Young and tennis champion Taylor Townsend were among the honorees, while Clinton attended to present an award to Minyon Moore.

Heiress has taken on several singing engagements this year, including singing the national anthem at a boxing event in Atlanta in May.

She is also scheduled to sing the anthem at Tuskegee University’s homecoming game on November 7.

Earlier this year, she released her single “In the Wind” on her birthday in March and received her third BET YoungStars Award nomination.

In a June interview with CBS News Atlanta’s Joshua Cole, Heiress spoke about her future in music and the artists she hopes to work with.

“I want to either be in a global girl group or I want to be a soloist,” she said.
