Tristan Thompson paid homage to Purple Day 2019 (#purpleday) by honoring his kids, Prince and True Thompson. The celebrity father debuted new sneakers that were purple and bore his kids’ names.
“Today’s a special day for me and these kicks are very special to me,” Tristan told his social media fans. “@epilepsytoronto #PurpleDay #MyMotivation #PurpleDayTO.”
Purple Day – held on March 26, 2019, this year – was created to spread awareness about epilepsy. Statistics show that about three million adults live with epilepsy in the United States. An estimated 470,000 children have the condition. Life expectancy for epilepsy is about two years less than that of individuals who do not live with the condition. Such is the reason for spreading awareness about the neurological disorder.
Tristan Thompson made significant headway with spreading awareness about epilepsy. The celebrity father’s sneakers are not only purple but they also feature the names of his children in the toe box area. “Much respect,” one Instagram fan said after getting wind of Tristan’s efforts. Epilepsy Toronto also commented on Thompson’s efforts. “Your dedication is so special to us and anyone living with epilepsy,” the organization shared online. “Thank you for your hard work.”
Tristan and his ex-girlfriend, Khloe Kardashian, have been in the news as of late because of his alleged affair with Jordyn Woods. Still, even with the bad press, Khloe does not openly criticize the father of her child. In fact, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star recently corrected a fan with gentleness after the social media follower declared that baby True Thompson only needs her mom to thrive in life.
“Thank you, love,” Khloe exclaimed in a tweet responding to the message. “You’re so very sweet,” she added. Kardashian went on to tell the fan that Tristan “is a good dad to [True]. My sweet and special baby True will NEVER be put in the middle of him and I. I can promise that.”
Tristan is equally to blame but Tristan is the father of my child. Regardless of what he does to me I won’t do that to my daughter. He has been addressing this situation PRIVATELY. If Tristan were to lie publicly about what conspired,then yes I would address him publicly as well

Rumors of Tristan cheating with Jordyn Woods circulated a few weeks back. Jordyn recently went on Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett-Smth to give her version of events that happened at the party that changed everything. Woods adamantly denied claims of her giving Tristan a lap dance. Jordyn did, however, admit to kissing Tristan and sitting dangerously close to the basketball player at the gathering.
“On the way out, he did kiss me. No passion … no tongue kiss, no making out, no nothing,” Woods explained. She also said, “He’s sitting in this chair … and I’m sitting on the arm of the chair. So you come into the party, and you look, and you see me sitting on the chair, in my head this is innocent.”
