Cory and Cairo Hardrict have one of the cutest daddy-daughter relationships we have seen in a while. The celebrity father and his little one gave fans an update during a recent episode of Tia Mowry’s Quick Fix. Read on to get a snippet of what Cory and Cairo revealed!
When asked about her sleeping habits, Cory told YouTube viewers, “She’s doing really good. She’ll get like two or three straight hours in. And sometimes, it’s like I’m all hers at night. I’m usually the one struggling with her at night while Tia’s over there knocked out. But it’s really fun. She has good nights and sometimes not-so-good nights. But everything’s going really good.”
Cory Hardrict is as protective as ever with his daughter. “Every day I’m checking on her [and] seeing if she’s okay,” the celebrity father said in the video. “That’s just my natural instincts for my little angel,” Cory added. “I don’t ever sleep at night because I’m always making sure the pacifier’s in her mouth, or her face is not on the mattress, and her nose and her mouth is open and [she’s] like breathing.”
Although Cory and Tia have experienced the joy of being the parents of a newborn, the couple welcomed their son in 2011, the celebrity father admitted that fathering a girl is different from rearing a boy. “She’s a little more calmer,” Cory shared. “She’s in control of everything. [With] Cree, we had more overall energy when he was a baby. She’s very alert. She’s aware [of her surroundings].”
Cory Hardrict is all for setting his daughter up for success. The celebrity father, however, is not looking forward to the day that little Cairo starts dating. “I don’t think that’s ever going to happen,” Cory told YouTube viewers. “I can’t see that happening any time [soon]. Like, I’m not even there yet [or] thinking about that. She’s going to live with me forever. There’s [isn’t] going to be any dating, nothing.”
