LeBron James, Jr., will attend school and play ball at Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California. News of the oldest son of Los Angeles Lakers players LeBron James Sr.’s decision spread on Monday.
According to TMZ,
“Multiple sources confirm … 13-year-old Bronny has enrolled at Crossroads with the intention of being a student when the school year begins.
Bronny, of course, is one of the top young basketball players in the country. The assumption is that he’ll join the school’s middle school basketball team until he’s eligible to play for the high school team next year.”
LeBron, Jr., follows a list of young athletes who attended Crossroads before going on to do bigger things in the sport. Shareef O’Neal, son of Shaq and Shaunie O’Neal, is one of the more recent Crossroads alumni. He is now preparing to attend UCLA where he will play for the Bruins’ basketball team.
LeBron James, Jr., has serious skills on the court that are only bound to improve during his time at Crossroads. LeBron James, Sr., commented on the prospect of playing in the NBA alongside his son during a recent interview.
“You want to ask me what’s the greatest achievement of my life,” he began. “If I’m on the same court as my son in the NBA. That would be number one in my lifetime as an NBA player.” We’d love to see that!
