Ava DuVernay’s anticipated Netflix limited series, Central Park Five already has an A-list cast; however, the award-winning writer, director, producer has just added one more-Storm Reid.
The Wrinkle in Time’s actress joins Niecy Nash, Kyle Bunbury, Aunjanue Ellis, Michael K. Williams, Jharrel Jerome, John Leguizamo, and Marsha Stephanie Blake. Just in case you haven’t heard about DuVernay’s latest project, were she will write, direct, and executive produce, it will center on the case of five Black teenagers who were wrongfully convicted of raping a woman in Central Park.
The four-part limited series is expected to premiere next year. Stay tuned, we are sure that there is going to be much more to come on this new project!
