At just 14-years-old, Makayla Lysiak is already an accomplished actress, poised to make her mark on the entertainment industry. It is no wonder that with her passion and dedication to her craft, that this rising young star is currently starring as “Barbara Robinson” in the David E. Kelley adapted television series, Mr. Mercedes. Based on Stephen King’s best-selling Bill Hodges trilogy, Mr. Mercedes has captivated audiences and is returning for a second season on August 22nd.
Lysiak can not only be seen in Mr. Mercedes, she can also be seen on the fifth and final season of the TNT series, Last Ship. Lysiak also has a host of additional titles on her impressive resume. Some of them include: Parenthood, Instant Mom, New Girl, Speechless, and The Fosters.

When Lysiak is not busy on set, she loves expressing another side of her artistic side by painting and singing. She is a screenwriter, photographer, and filmmaker, making her a true Renaissance young woman in the making. Additionally, Lysiak enjoys simply hanging with her three siblings and playing her fur sisters, Sophia and Katie.
