Welcome, Ella Grace! Keshia Knight Pulliam announced the arrival of her little girl on Monday. The actress took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter’s birth.
“Ella Grace has arrived,” Keshia shared. The new mom also uploaded a picture of her daughter’s feet, which were covered with white socks.
Keshia Knight Pulliam announced her expectancy last July. She was then hit with the bombshell of marriage dissolution when her then-husband Ed Hartwell revealed plans for divorce.
“It’s hurtful,” Keshia shared with ET Online in response to some critics accusing her of promiscuity. “I knew I couldn’t be silent, because this isn’t about money. This isn’t about fame. This isn’t about social media likes or follows. This is about my character — my integrity as a woman being attacked — and that’s not OK,” she added.
Keshia later reflected on her tumultuous year and thanked her then-unborn daughter. “This has been [the] single most challenging year of my life,” she explained on Instagram.
“I am so eternally grateful for my little Ella. I would not trade any of what I have gone thru for her. She is my greatest accomplishment and joy. She has inspired my smile even thru the tears. I am so proud she has chosen me to be her mommy.”
Ella Grace is Keshia Knight Pulliam and ex-husband Ed Hartwell’s first child.
